The Royal Rangers are for boys in Kindergarten through 12th grade.  Our vision is to reach, teach and keep boys for Christ.  Our mission is to evangelize boys for Christ, develop the total boy for Christ (spiritually, physically, mentally and socially), and keep boys involved in church ministry.  We accomplish our mission statement by meeting weekly in our outpost meetings.  The outposts are broken down into four groups. Ranger Kids (Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade) includes a challenging and fun advancement system encouraging your son through indoor and outdoor activities and games.  The weekly lessons and objectives help to reinforce Godly principles in their daily lives and they will have opportunities to achieve many advancements awards that can be placed on an awards vest and worn each week as part of the official Royal Ranger uniform. Discovery Rangers (third, fourth and fifth grade), features an exciting premier advancement system.  In this system your son will learn through camping and non-camping activities.  An emphasis is placed on learning at their own pace in a merit-based curriculum. Adventure Rangers (sixth, seventh and eight grade), participate in more challenging camping and outdoor activities while emphasizing skill development, advanced camping, Junior Leadership Training, Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship (FCF), and Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals with national recognition. Expedition Rangers (ninth through twelfth grade), is considered a high action-packed adventure trail in which your son is further challenged by advanced camping, camp craft skills, and ministry opportunities.  These activities offer boys in the age group ways to become more self-reliant and develop confidence and a greater appreciation of God.  Several advancement programs are available including Air Rangers, Sea Rangers, Trail Rangers, Junior Chaplaincy, High Action Rangers, Junior Leadership Academy opportunities and more.  Your son will be challenged to serve through Home Missions, Foreign Missions, Youth Ministry, and Men’s Ministry. In addition to the outpost meetings we participate in several district and sectional camp-outs and day camps each year.  Some of the events we participate in are YMCA Overnighter, Winter Camp, District Summer Pow Wow, Sectional Fall Pow Wow, District Summer Field Day and Section Fall Field Day.
