Kids for Christ Ministry Teams are the vision of Solid Rock Church to train and equip children for a life of leadership in Christian Ministry. Requirements and qualifications apply for acceptance into the program.   Kidz Created 2 Worship is a worship team for boys and girls in the 2nd through 5th grade who believe that worship is a lifestyle, not a performance, and includes living a life of servant hood in and outside the church. We have a desire to see children experience the fullness of the power of God at work in their lives. By cultivating their gifts and teaching them to allow God’s anointing to move through them. We are teaching them that they are never too young to be used mightily in the kingdom. Our mission is to teach children to lead children and adults into a deeper walk with the Lord through a lifestyle of worship. We accomplish our mission by meeting for rehearsal / team building once per week. During that time we teach Bible lessons, worship and pray together, and rehearse music / work on singing better and better. We serve in the church and community in different ways throughout the year. We look for opportunities to lead worship in various settings. We also schedule periodic team-building events to allow the kids to play with a purpose. Everything is focused on spiritual growth and growing in their gift, understanding that God created them with a special purpose in mind. The Kidz Created 2 Worship team participate in ministry in church services, visiting nursing homes once per month, making and delivering lunches to volunteers at home sites for Habitat for Humanity, collecting needed items and delivering to and visiting homeless shelters, and outdoor worship event (Kidz Rock)     Kingdom Kidz Dance Ministry is for girls and boys in the 4th and 5th grade. Our vision is to empower the children to worship God in spirit and in truth. Our mission is to create a spirit of worship in the children. We want to help them to find God for themselves and no longer worship the God of their parents. We want to see them develop a personal relationship with God and to know Him as their Father. We also want to help the children translate this message to other children through dance. We want them to understand that they can have fun in Jesus. We accomplish our mission by training them in the word and in dance. We teach them God can use them as vessels of praise and worship and to give to others what God has given to them. We want to create an atmosphere where God can fall and teach them to do the same in their personal worship time. The Kingdom Kidz Dance Ministry participates once per month in the Kids for Christ Worship service; we also participate in Christmas Celebration, Kidz Rock Worship Service and other outreach events.
