The King’s Cupboard vision is to be the arm of the church fulfilling Matthew 25: “For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”
The King’s Cupboard reaches out to the church family and the community to meet their physical and spiritual hunger, and in all circumstances point them toward the true help and provision of the cross. The King’s Cupboard is open on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month and also immediately after the 11:30 a.m. service each Sunday morning.
The King’s Cupboard networks with Shared Harvest Food bank, overseen by Second Harvest, which is the largest network of food-giving organizations in the US. We also facilitate community service programs to increase awareness of heat help, food programs and WIC assistance available to qualifying families. |
