Altar workers assist people who come to the altar seeking prayer.  The Altar Workers mission is to minister to the needs of individuals at the altar, to be servants to those individuals and to uphold them in prayer agreeing with them for an answer to their prayers. 

If the individual has come to the altar seeking salvation, the Altar Workers escorts them to the Upper Room, where the new converts receives literature and counseling concerning their new life in Christ. 

Altar Workers are present at every service and special event at SRC, making themselves available to assist those in need of prayer.
